Hugo Chávez, President of Venezuela, has warned he intends to seize Colombian-owned businesses if there is “any new aggression” from Alvaro Uribe's government and announced the decision of withdrawing its Ambassador in Bogotá, Gustavo Márquez. This is a result of the recent problems between the South American countries regarding some weapons sold to Venezuela by a Swedish company which were found in the hands of the FARC, Colombia’s main rebel group.
