Colombia's Competitiveness Improves on Global Scale

According to the Global Competitiveness Report (2009-2010) published by the World Economic Forum, Colombia's competitiveness improved five positions and is now ranked at number 69. Brazil, Uruguay and Peru also advanced on the ranking. The improvement, the report says, is due to the region's solid macroeconomic structure.
