Government presents new tourism website

“For the first time Colombia has a complete website which will allow foreign tourists to know the country virtually, get excited and then come and visit us”, said Luis Guillermo Plata, Minister of Trade, Industry and Tourism, referring to www.colombia.travel . This new project is planned as a step towards promoting Colombia internationally as an important tourist destination. The goal is to have 4 million foreign tourists in the country in 2010.
