2nd Annual Colombian/Peruvian Salsa Festival

Jul 29--Prepare your dancing shoes for an exciting Salsa event just north of San Diego, CA. The Colombian/Peruvian Salsa Festival , hosted by Rumba Entertainment, debuted only last year and is back Sunday August 2nd after a great success.

In honor of Independence for both Peru (July 28) and Colombia( July 20), this is an all day event starting at 4 p.m. with plenty for all ages. From dancing lessons to performances by some of the best Latin Dance companies in San Diego. There will be also be live music provided by three bands: Ritmo Peru, Grupo Mi Tierra, and Mambo Salvaje finishing up the night with Salsa, Merengue, and Bachata.

The cover is $15 for adults and $5 for ages 18 and under. The performances will begin at 7 p.m. showcasing some folk dances from Peru and Colombia as well as Salsa dancing. At 8:30 p.m., a free salsa and bachata lesson will be provided by Deseo Dance Company. After that, the music will keep on playing until 1 a.m.
