Shakira honored by UNICEF

The German chapter of UNICEF honored colombian singer Shakira for her commitment with children's rights. Shakira is the founder of Pies Descalzos foundation, which works towards the education of poor children. She has been a UNICEF ambassador since 2003 and is also committed with ALAS foundation, a regional initiative that gives children in need the opportunity of a brighter future.
